Two Decades of Trust Between Philippine Farms and North American Buyers
Founded in Los Angeles, Philippine Fruit Importing Co was built on a single conviction: the best tropical fruits in the world come from the Philippines, and buyers deserve direct access to them.
Our Story
Philippine Fruit Importing Co was founded by a team of Filipino-American entrepreneurs who saw a gap in the North American market: premium Philippine tropical fruits were largely unavailable outside of small ethnic grocery stores, and the supply chains that did exist were fragmented, unreliable, and disconnected from the farms themselves.
We spent our first years building direct relationships with farming families and cooperatives across Mindanao, Visayas, and Luzon — learning the land, the harvest cycles, and the post-harvest practices that separate export-quality fruit from the rest. Those relationships are the foundation of everything we do.
Today, we supply importers, wholesalers, specialty grocers, and food service distributors across the United States. Our Los Angeles headquarters manages logistics, compliance, and customer relationships, while our Philippines-based sourcing team is on the ground year-round.
Our Mission
To connect the world's finest tropical fruit growers with buyers who value quality, consistency, and transparency — while creating lasting economic opportunity for farming communities in the Philippines.
